WALT DISNEY TRIVIA MONDAY:

Did you know that it was 1906 when Walt's father Elias decided to pack up their family and make the move from Chicago, Illinois to Marceline, Missouri.  After selling their home for $1800 the family boarded a boxcar and headed out to begin the next chapter their life living on a farm.  It was Walt's memory of Marceline that years later inspired his creation of Mainstreet USA in Disneyland® and later the Magic Kingdom®.

New Mickey and Minnie Meet and Greet at Disney's Animal Kingdom®

Get ready. A brand new character meet and greet will be making its big debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park later this spring.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be greeting their guests in a cool new location. That new location is called Adventurers Outpost and it will serve as  home base to connect with these favorite Disney friends. This is an indoor location so it will be a perfect way to take a break from the mid-summer heat before heading back out to enjoy your next big adventure.
Adventures Outpost can be found in the Discovery Island® Area in what used to be the Beastly Bazaar shop.

In Camp Minnie-Mickey, where you used to be able to greet Mickey and Minnie  you will still be able to experience the not-to-miss Festival of the Lion King show and meet other Disney Characters along the trail.
